A
magnificent obsession
Dear Friends,
In post # 105, Feroz Karmally -- indefatigable
champion of Allah's partiality toward Muslims,
defender extraordinaire of the Koran in God's
own favourite language Arabic, and high priest
emeritus of the newfangled and dubious Koranic
Science -- emphatically denies that we live
and move and have our being in God.
He also denies that we are a part of God.
He also denies that Allah can be Omnipresent.
Here, in his own words, is what Karmally wrote
back at the speed of lightning (less than 20
minutes after I sent my last post (#104), and
even before it was posted on the discussion
board or read by anyone:
One can get so drunk as
to insert words like Omnipresent when they
are not there, and insist that God 'runs'
through us, and claim that we are a part of
God. I suppose, that is the privilege of
the drunkard and we are better off leaving
them in their drunkeness [sic].
Karmally's acrimonious prolix is beginning to
sound like a magnificent obsession.
