There is a difference
between conditioning and confusion.
Conditioning of the mind and body is an
exercise that allows it to be more fit and
perform better. Confusion is to mix up
singularity, duality and plurality, to quote
some examples like night and day, yes and no
and somehow conclude that we manufactured
ourselves, that an explosion in a giant
printing factory in the skies resulted in the
formation of the universe with its precise
laws and the designed and functional human
being.
Confusion is the creation
of our own minds, and we have to work very
hard to condition ourselves to be confused.
The natural, God given desire is to work
towards peace, and understanding and goal
seeking, not confusion based on our own
opinions projected as the truth (when it is
not), e.g. when one says "Once this insight is
gained, one is awakened. This is
enlightenment" This awakening is called
enlightenment". I would rephrase this as
"Once this confusion is gained, one drifts
into a coma, the awakening from which is
called chaos."
