>he does
not agree with my simple unprejudiced
contention that the creator and his creation
are one. He refuses to see what I have said a
few times, that the spirit of God, the creator
of the universe, pervades all of existence in
its myriad forms, wherever we tiurn -- in the
animal and plant kingdom, in non-living
things, or in human life.
I keep
saying that God is part and parcel of His own
creation.<
I keep asking him, where
is the basis for what you say? Do we have one
example of a creator being part of his
creation?
His logic is hard to
digest when he cannot even give one occurrence
or example to back up his statement.
To say we that HE is part
and parcel of HIS creation is like saying we
are God.
I can say that in
everything we observe, the manufacturer and
the manufactured are not the same, but two
distinct entities.
Then Rashid puts words
into my mouth, that Islam is the best religion
and Quran the greatest book. Anyone who
worships God alone, believes in the Hereafter
and does righteous works is following the best
'religion'. I have never been a fan of Ahmed
Deedat or Zakir Naik, in fact found them
repulsive because of their disdain for other
religions or insulting to women. Please
Rashid do not say things about me that are not
true.
Then Rashid says "The
truth is that there is no such thing as truth"
and "the repetition of a truth is a lie".
This logic is
hard to fathom since truth by definition is
not a lie. So, if there is one creator, and
just because some religious book says there is
one creator, to tell someone there is one
creator is a lie? Then you started out with a
lie - you are not repeating the truth but
repeating a lie. Fancy words and catchy
phrases may sound good to those who invent
them, but they are not correct until proven
so.
FYI Rashid, I have no
'Muslim' or 'Christian' society that I need to
fit in with. Muslims are as averse to La illah
illalaah (there is one God) as are the
Christians - they insist on adding the name of
Muhammad or Jesus. I do not have anything in
common with them. This fear factor Rashid
talks about, does not apply to me.
