I agree with you. In fact
I have a book, "The Devil of Economic
Fundamentalism", and I have been writing in
great lengths about the ideology of economic
fundamentalism, which means the supremacy of
economic in all the affairs of the world. The
dominance of the economic forces has become
complete in the wake of Industrial revolution,
and now even political, health and other
scientific philosophies have the stamp of the
economic fundamentalism. But I will like to
make a correction in what you said in the last
sentence. Most of the wars have nothing to do
whatsoever with religion; and wherever
religion is involved, in most if not all cases
it is manipulated by the vested interests.
