Dear Pervaiz Sahib
Below is a chapter from Iqbal's "Reconstruction
of religious thought in Islam" in which he deals
with the contemporary arguments for the
existence of God and shows their inadequacy. Yet
Iqbal tries to prove the existence of God based
on Quranic verses. Its not clear to me what is
his basis for taking Quran as a true word of
Allah and how does he go about proving Allah's
existence. May be you can shed some light on it.

arguments, known as the Cosmological, the
Teleological, and the Ontological, embody a real
movement of thought in its quest after the
