FROM
CLARITY TO OBSCURITY
Dear Peter:
Yes, by talking down from the intellectual
pedestal, you -- and everyone else who thinks only vertically -- are
rendering obscure the simple purpose of this inquiry concerning fundamental
unity [whether it be about politics, secularism, Pakistaniness,
or the spiritually loaded 'universal brotherhood of man'].
The United Nations, the so-called mighty United States,
or any analyst who says s/he is "trying to shed some light in as
straightforward a manner as possible" on the problems of the world,
hasn't resolved the individual problem of the disunity that plagues
humanity at every juncture.
Israel and Palestine
are not the problem; it is the 'I', 'me', and 'my' that makes us lock
horns, as we're doing now.
To understand what is being said, you have to
understand what breeds this fragmentation in human beings, whoever they
are: Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or Jew.
Now, do you read me?
