Hi all,
According to my limited
understanding, any system that holds that no legislation can be made
against any dogmatic laws cannot be considered a democracy. No purely
Islamic state can legislate against any Quranic
law even if such legislation is people's desire. That makes Islam, or any
other system of dogmatic beliefs that puts the ultimate authority to
legislate with any divinity, mutually exclusive with democracy.
Thanks,
Rafi Aamer
