The new "enlightened-moderated" law has amended the press and publication ordinance to stop any kind of criticism against the military, the president and the government. The punishment for criticizing the Army, under the "enlightened-moderation" law is three years imprisonment. The author of this article admits that he is not enlightened enough as defined by the new laws of the geographic entity called Pakistan and he doesn't envy spending three years behind the bars for just expressing his opinion.
