Family of the Heart - DIALOGUE & DISCUSSIONS

God exists because I do!

Dear Ahsan Khan,

First of all, post # 68 came to you by way of a technical hitch which has now been thankfully rectified by Pervaiz Salahuddin.

I agree with what you wrote about the existence of God as per Einstein.

In fact I like to think that I think like Einstein.

My understanding of God has been influenced from a young age by Erasmus and Spinoza and Marcus Aurelius, the Upanishads and the Gita, Gandhi and Nietzsche, and latterly by Buddhism and the teachings of Zen.

This list of philosophers and scientists is long, from Aristotle to Zoroaster.

I have also studied comparative religion and the esoteric philosophy of J. Krishnamurti for more than 40 years.

And my take on God is rather simple: God exists because I do.

We don't believe in luck so we don't play dice, but I am certain we both love chess!

Regards,

Rashid Mughal
