Those scientific verses
Dear Rashid
Dear Feroz,
The reality of the countless quadzillion objects (including the atoms) without a
pillar is a stark reality, and the Quran simply
reminds us of this.
Which
edition of the Koran are you reading, my brother!
You do not cease to astound me when
you ask 'how scientific those facts are’.
The
onus is on you to demonstrate how scientific those verses actually are.
We have been talking about the
orbits in the universe that any scientist knows and will confirm as fact.
Why don't you go and ask a scientist,
Have
you done this yourself?
at least you might believe them. Then tell
them that the Quran says this too, and see if
they turn around and deny the existence of these orbits.
What's
the big deal here? Have you ever met a true scientist in your life?
Alternatively, have you ever found the Koran mentioned in any truly
scientific journals or papers that you've read in your entire religio-scientific career to date?
Unfortunately those who are
burdened by the baggage of the past,
Including
people like yourself, to be sure.
the bad experiences from religion
The Battle of Karbala, Muharram, Al Qaeda, Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Tayeba, or what?
and fake gods,
Why are
you obsessed with this kind of nonsense?
are unable to shed this and remove
themselves from the shackles that cloud
Shackles
don't cloud; they clamp
their common sense and clear thinking. They
are an easy prey for being brain washed. One can parallel their behavior to
that of a blind rat
Wow!
When and where did you see a blind rat?
that firmly rejects everything around him that he
cannot see. Sometimes these people can be deprogrammed. More often, they
cannot - it depends on their sincerity and quest for the truth.
It is
amazing, as you say, that things actually depend
on a blind rat's sincerity and quest for truth!
Here are a few simple questions
that demonstrate the fact that these people are incorrigible and the
magnitude of this incurable disease. Perhaps some of them will snap out of
their trance.
- If you see a beautiful picture on
the wall, will you 1) admit there has to be an artist that painted the
picture 2) insist that there cannot be an artist
Sometimes there's an artist, but mostly there's a
Nikon which is not really an artist, y'know.
If you chose 1), then let us say the
picture was one of stars in the sky going around in perfect orbits. Why
then will you deny that, when you see the real thing, a live picture, that
there is no artist or designer behind it?
- If you see a ball (tennis ball,
volley ball etc) suspended 20 feet above ground, with no support and
spinning on its axis, will you 1) be puzzled initially, investigate and
conclude that there is some mysterious force or designer causing it 2)
insist that it is all happening by itself without any reason
And
what about all those Remax balloons we see
suspended in the air?
If your answer is 1), and you see
the moon (and countless other bodies) up there, spinning and moving, a live
scene, without any physical support, why then will you deny that there is
something or someone behind it?
There is always hope that the
remnants of intellectual honesty might one day surface from the dark
recesses of close mindedness, and denial for the sake of denial, and that
these people somehow realize that to "attack to only tear down" is
a futile strategy. The hopelessness of not being able to provide
answers cannot be intoxicated by seeking refuge behind the mere words
'there is no answer' which gradually and deftly morphs into 'the answer is
no'.
Perhaps a good beginning would be
'the answer is maybe'.
Maybe.
Feroz
Maybe I
should read a copy of the Koran autographed by a scientist. Do you know
any?
Be well.
