Janab Chaudry [J I] Sahib
I’ve had the opportunity to read
your review of Zia Sahib’s essay. Post number 1. I’m sure Zia Sahib is the
right person to address your review in more details, but I’m taking the
liberty to discuss few of the things in your post. As other people read and
participate, I’m sure there will be more interesting thoughts that will
spring up.
First of all, I see from the post
number 1, that the author is not [yet] making any positive claims. It is an essay with thoughts, observation
in their infancy, therefore subject to many enhancements.
But when you say, “……………….a
logical coherence of its statements must lead to a viable conclusion………”
perhaps the above observation was missed in your review. May be I can use
your other comments for similar arguments, but hopefully, you see the
point.
What I like to think is that we
live in a dynamic world. There are too many “unknowns”. Human population has a major flaw. We do
not like to think ourselves or for ourselves. We let others think for us,
and then when the others dictate upon us, we too gladly follow. We allow
ourselves to remain “slaves”. Some of us even achieve high education,
experiences, knowledge but still remain ignorant. Sadly the category of those of us who acquire high education
[academic education, passing exams, etc] also develop “superiority”
attitudes. When someone comes up with a revolutionary idea, philosophy or
“message from God” we do not approve. Galileo’s now well established
findings received what treatment? What was done to the prophets [if the
stories are accurate]? I’m scared to think that those who reacted to the
new ideas mentioned above were no different from us.
So, I think we should try to
visualize what is written in post 1, hear from other learned scholars and
see where it takes us.
By the way, 1=2 has already been
proven.
