It does not matter what people
think of God. We are insignificant
creatures in this universe with very limited minds, and you are right in
that we have created an image of God to fit our own minds. However, when
considering the reality of the vast universe, beyond our imagination, and
the atom, too tiny to comprehend completely, and the precisely balanced
forces to keep this universe composed of atoms in a "pillarless orbit", we reach a point where we
realize our own shortcomings, and our inadequate definition of God.
This does not change the fact
that a creator exists.
"God" is a reality whether we want to accept that or not.
Our inability to comprehend God is irrelevant. All we can do as intelligent
human being is accept the reality and discard our erroneous conclusions of
the past.
