MR. CJP, EVERY DROP OF BLOOD DEMANDS JUSTICE

             TORONTO:  Mr. Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, projected as the Champion of Judiciary, it is your moral and legal duty and responsibility to take immediate and strict notice of the disclosures made by two very important military officials---Lt-Gen Naseer Akhtar (Retd), a former corps commander of Karachi, and Brig Imtiaz Ahmed (Retd), a former director-general of the Intelligence Bureau, that the MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) had nothing to do with the ‘Jinnahpur conspiracy’ and it was all a drama and an excuse to crush the MQM.

Mr. CJP, the MQM claims that nearly 15,000 MQM workers and supporters of all ages and mostly youngsters, were wrongly labeled, targeted and mercilessly massacred in the military operation of June 19, 1992. 

As a result, the lives of Urdu speaking class or Mohajirs became miserable all over Pakistan. They lived in a state of extreme fear and terror. Even those not belonging to MQM were not spared. They were picked up, tortured and killed as well. The number of those killed and missing goes very high. Many fled the country to save their lives from the Barbarian style action of those law-enforcement officials.  Their families were harassed, tortured and heavy amount of money extorted from them.   

            According to MQM: “Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain has demanded formation of a national truth and reconciliatory commission to put facts before the nation after astonishing revelations that the Jinnahpur map and the plan never existed and it was only an excuse to start the June 19, 1992 military operation against the MQM. Two former military men have disclosed that the alleged map of Jinnahpur was a ‘drama’ and its publication was meant to malign a democratic party.

            “Former Intelligence Bureau director-general Brig Imtiaz (Retd), who was a major player in the 1992 operation against the MQM and its cadres, confessed that the Jinnahpur map “was a drama that was aimed at creating a rift amongst various sections of the nation”.
            “Known as one of the most influential spy officers, who played a key role in shaping political events in Pakistan, Brigadier Imtiaz Ahmed further confessed that he carried out research into the allegations and found that no such thing as Jinnahpur existed and no such map was found from any office of the MQM.
            “The retired Army officer further said the operation, which was started during the reign of the then-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, was launched after full consultation and with the full knowledge of the proper chain-of-command, which included the then-Army Chief Asif Nawaz, president Ghulam Ishaq Khan and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
            “Gen Naseer Akhtar (Retd), who was the corps commander Karachi at the time of the operation, also confessed he had no knowledge of the Jinnahpur map and that was the reason why the ISPR withdrew it two days after its publication.”

            Addressing a Press conference at the MQM international secretariat in London, UK, on August 23, 2009, Altaf Hussain said his party’s stance stood vindicated and termed the confessional statements by two pivotal charters of the operation as the victory of truth and justice, and proof that the establishment was scared of the party’s pro-middle class and anti-corruption and feudalism message.

            The chief of PML (N), Mian Nawaz Sharif, and his cronies have been exposed now by the disclosures. He was given two chances as the Prime Minister of Pakistan but what he did is before all of us now. If given a third chance, with blessing of his master and not wishes of the people, then God help and save Pakistan and the people from cruelties and destruction.

            I am not a member of any political party or movement but still I left my country Pakistan and migrated to Canada for better future. The situation was such bad that I got fed up and was left with no choice except to leave country. It was a very tough decision. I was worried about my children, their lives and future. Canada provided almost everything and proved heaven for us. Thanks to The Almighty for His this blessing on my family.  

Mr. CJP, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry, every single drop of blood of those martyred by the Barbarians and Human Beasts and every individual, institution and house affected and destroyed in any way by them demand justice from you and severest punishment. It is needless to remind you that justice delayed is justice denied. If you don’t act, the people will.

            People struggled, sacrificed their lives and brought you back to the position of CJP just to get justice in the true sense and quickly. Now it is your responsibility to act practically and punish those who keep playing with the lives of innocent Pakistanis and harming Pakistan.

            As regards return of Altaf Hussain to Pakistan, right now it is not advisable at all. The blood thirsty beasts and the corrupt class are waiting to finish him off. There is no question about this. Nature, time and accountability will expose all---traitors and patriots. They including Altaf Hussain will meet their fate---Good or bad.
