Masud Sahab,
To keep things simple, as
opposed to opening all fronts from Swat to
Iraq, or from Waziristan to Afghanistan, I
would like to stick with what we are talking
about here and that is the Operation Cleanup
1992. If the news and scandal matter to you,
please feel free to express your opinions
'about the news'. If it does not interest you,
you may ignore it and move on to the next
email in your inbox. I sincerely fail to
understand your time investment in depriving
others of reading about such an explosive
political scandal in Pakistan's history. To
you, it may be partisan, to me, it is human.
I still maintain that if
you could see what this scandal really means
to the people of Karachi and Hyderabad who
unnecessarily suffered in the hands of
Pakistani Military for years, you would have
been condemning the Operation and not
digressing into what I consider your personal
feelings about a political party, unless, of
course, you consider the Operation just and
necessary because MQM 'deserved' to be
whipped. Is that what you are alluding here?
If you still want to talk
about it, I would very much appreciate if you
could stick to the topic. We can always talk
about Altaf Hussain's London spoils,
freeloading and his secret relationship with
Nazia Hassan anytime in some other email
chain.
Regards,
Askari
