Dear
Javed I.
Chaudry
The topic of this discussion is
the book
Chasing A Mirage – The Tragic Illusion of an
Islamic State. Not
9/11. I was forced to choose this dead horse
9/11 topic which you graciously provided
because a strict curfew has been imposed by
some notable contributors that only those
who have read the book end to end and line
by line are eligible to comment on it. I can
only stake my claim to review the cover page
of the book which I assure every one that I
have read word by
word. I found that reviewing the cover is no
less a rewarding effort. Soon after I read
the cover I started looking for the person
who is chasing the mirage of Islamic state
to warn him that it is a tragic illusion
which may result in dire consequences. I
asked my friends who are mere mortals like
me that do they know a guy who is chasing
this mirage. They said are you nuts there
are dozens of Islamic states, starting from
Morocco to Indonesia. In this region you
will find Islamic states of all shades and
colors with sharia compliant constitution to
shraia compliant toothpaste. I asked them if
they know dudes Qutob and Moudoodi I heard
they were chasing this mirage and another
dude Iqbal was secretly conniving with
Moudoodi in his effort. They told me that
all three are dead. I said but Tarek found
in their writings secret formula and a 'How
To' manual to create an Islamic state he
tested the instructions and found them dud
and harmful. That is why he wrote a book
advising everyone to live in state of Islam
not in Islamic State. Anyway I am sure one
day I will find the guy chasing the mirage
as Tarek can not be wrong.
Dear
Javed I. Chaudry
few words about 9/11 & how I perceive it
As I said if someone doesn't want to
believe, it is impossible to convince him. I
admit that it applies to me too. Anyway just
for discussion sake the pictures of
terrorists did not convince me although
these pictures are prominently displayed in
some homes and parents/siblings proudly
acknowledge the sacrifice of their shaheed.
What convinced me were not the
pictures but the circumstantial evidences
that on same day, same route, almost same
time 5,5,5,4 Middle Eastern persons were
traveling strategically seated in fully
loaded planes. When their background was
checked at least one of them had training to
fly big passenger jets. It can't be
coincidence. Also when you go on such a
grand mission you like to take credit
especially when you know you can not be
caught. You deliberately leave lot of foot
prints so you get the credit, nobody else.
These guys knew what a big splash they are
going to make and it is natural to tell the
world "see it is me who brought to knees the
world's only super power ". If I would have
been in their place I would have made sure
that world knows that it is me who did it. I
remember the moment when I first heard about
it I uttered an uncontrolled WAWO, it was
such a stupendous feat that any operative
will be proud of. For a while I also thought
that Muslim Al-Qaida can't have the
capability to accomplish such a meticulously
planned operation (Abducting and brain
washing young boys strapping them with
explosives to kill muslims) yes but not this
it ought to be Jewish Mosad or Christian
CIA, but after endorsement from Osama and
later developments I had to give the devil
his due. They had Motive (Teach USA a lesson
for its blank check support of Israel who
was killing their brothers) they were
Present at crime scene and they had Weapon
(airplane and how to fly it).So if you ask
me to be the judge
then
my verdict is guilty.
These are my thoughts on 9/11 the core issue
Let's exchange our views on Khalid,
Osama,USA, Iraq, Afghanistan and of course
moon sometimes later.
PS: Almost every Muslim including me owned
this heroic act & " USA deserved it" echoed
from east to west but when its repercussions
started biting only then conspiracy theories
started to emerge. Right or Wrong?
