Response to Nargis Tapal, Post #10
I commend
Nargis for
dutifully standing by her husband. But why is
Tarek using his wife to issue this challenge?
Although it would be a pain to read a long book
written by Tarek, if no one else is available, I
would be willing to go through this pain and
accept the challenge. It will take some time,
though
However, having seen Tarek’s techniques before,
there would need to be strict guidelines on how
the debate is conducted. Once I saw a debate on TV
between Tarek & Irshad Manji – this is before
Tarek decided to capitulate and march in rank and
file behind the Daniel Pipes’ of this world. The
way Tarek kept interrupting Ms. Manji, and making
personal attacks on her, I felt sorry for Ms.
Manji, even though I had more sympathy for Tarek’s
point of view (as it used to be then) than Ms.
Manji’s.

He who joyfully marches to music in rank and
file has already earned my contempt. He has been
given
a large brain by mistake, since for him the
spinal cord would fully suffice - Albert
