Chasing A Mirage – The Tragic Illusion of an Islamic State.

Author: Tarek Fatah

Mr.Baqar Warsi conceived something but could not deliver anything. In a mosque we listen to a mullah and his filibustering without engaging ourselves thinking that this mullah has a connection with Allah and by challenging him we may lose our passage to the heavens. Without dittoing Javed .I. Caudry Mr.Warsi should have given his readers some thoughts from himself. If he is confident that our Glorious Islam is doing great in our contemporary world, I would say he is quite ignorant of his surroundings. A recalcitrant is not an enemy in anyway. He is rather an interesting person who invokes questions for the generation he represents. Tarek Fatah or the ‘pro Tarek Fatah’ as the Mr.Wari said, peoples are not strangers or neither freaks nor they are “mentally” unstable in anyway. I am very much aware of the fact that for people, who observes Islam with fear not with reason, will never be able to grasp the gravity of the crisis this faith is going through.  When fear and hypocrisy overcomes our judgment we become unable to see the dire facts. All religions are a part of history now and therefore from the intellectual point of view we should scrutinize them. Don’t be afraid we are not going to discard them. We will not help Islam,  you may say ISLAM DOES NOT NEED HELP from any one, by ignoring facts.
