It is interesting to read
that it is always the minorities that are always
wrong and the majority community only has the
wisdom and they are always right. Recent
history shows that it was the minority Jews in
Germany who were wrong and how Hitler decided to
sort this out was the only right answer.
Majority just does not have the courage to
accept that they get things wrong and do not
have the will to take moral high ground.
In British India it was the minority Muslim
community that got it wrong because it asked for
constitutional guarantees for their rights.
Majority Hindu community never got anything
wrong and the Muslims like Azad who were with
the majority community only had the right
answer. The country got partitioned in 1947 and
the majority Hindu community did not fail -
under the nose of the majority community the
country got divided - but the fault was of the
minority. As a first generation migrant in the
west I notice time and again how the minority
new migrants are always responsible for high
unemployment and economic ills.
What is really strange is that in present
Hindustan the only Muslim majority province
(Kashmir) is the one where the Muslim blood
never stops flowing. Again the Muslim minority
has got it wrong and Hindu majority has every
right to slaughter and rape this minority. More
than 70,000 have been killed by the Indian Army
- as the minority is being killed who cares.
The present crises in Pakistan is there mainly
due to the situation in Afghanistan. We all
conveniently forget that almost 2 million
Afghans have been killed in the war that has
been going on since 1978 - 31 years. At the
peak of the crises there were 4.3 million Afghan
refugees in Pakistan and today there are still
2.5 million Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Apart
from Afghanistan the other country that has
suffered in this 31 years war is Pakistan -
again it is easy to blame Pakistan as the
Russians, Americans, India, UK and the forces
from Nato countries never do anything wrong.
As far as partition of India is concerned the
fact is the majority did not want the minority -
like Hitler's Germany did not want the Jews and
recently Muslims in Yugoslavia met the same fate
and they were blamed for everything by the
majority community.
Minorities do not have choices - they are always
pushed and blamed.
