Thanks for sharing this article. The objections
raised in it appear to carry weight to support
its assertions.
The interview does appear odd in the light of
points highlighted in the article.
I have not paid much attention to this
discussion, as I have been pre-occupied with
current state of affairs that is developing and
fast changing in Pakistan.
The Indian partition of 1947, to me is no more
than a dead horse, it has been beaten enough,
further beating won’t revive it. The discussion
however, does offer an interesting academic
exercise, but Pakistan is at such a juncture
where the current crisis around the bunch of
compradors ruling the country needs more
attention than it did any time in the past. What
should or should not have been done 60 years ago
is all of a sudden not as important as what must
be done now.
