The Man Who Knew The Future Of Pakistan Before Its Creation

Family of the Heart - DIALOGUE & DISCUSSIONS

Masud Sahib,

Thanks for sharing this article. The objections raised in it appear to carry weight to support its assertions.

The interview does appear odd in the light of points highlighted in the article.

I have not paid much attention to this discussion, as I have been pre-occupied with current state of affairs that is developing and fast changing in Pakistan.

The Indian partition of 1947, to me is no more than a dead horse, it has been beaten enough, further beating won’t revive it. The discussion however, does offer an interesting academic exercise, but Pakistan is at such a juncture where the current crisis around the bunch of compradors ruling the country needs more attention than it did any time in the past. What should or should not have been done 60 years ago is all of a sudden not as important as what must be done now.

Regards,

Javed I. Chaudry
