The Man Who Knew The Future Of Pakistan Before Its Creation

Family of the Heart - DIALOGUE & DISCUSSIONS

Thanks for your wishes for the new year.

I have read your mail containing the link Maulana Abul Kalam Azad: The Man Who Knew The Future Of Pakistan Before Its Creation.

I have no idea what is the purpose of this essay but one thing is for certain, Azad was no friend of Pakistan. Maulana Ahmed Hussain Ahmed Madni actually said to Azad; On the day of judgment, my hand would be holding your collar and would be asking; Why this treason against Muslims of India?

Anyhow, for your readers, I am sending you a link which I hope that you would consider reading and distributing, as to why Pakistan was necessary.

Few days back, it was the birthday of the great man – Quaid-e-Azam- who spent all his waking hours to give a homeland to the down trodden masses of India who were followers of Islam and who after ruling Hindustan for nearly 800 years fell behind in every section of life.

In my formatting youth, my dear father gave me a book to read. The name of the book was; Verdict on India and the author was Beverley Nichols.

The book details one year’s crisscross journey in India under taken in 1944 by this British author, journalist and social commentator to experience what the Indian political elite was thinking and doing for the independence movement. This 229 page book is an intensive study of the huge sub-continent.

In the book, Beverley Nichols interviews many prominent politicians but what struck me most was page 188. A 10 page long interview under the title; Dialogue with a giant.

This is an in depth conversation with Quaid-e-Azam by a British journalist who was not holding back his punches.  This is a must read by all those love the founder of Pakistan and who are grateful that he made Pakistan a reality but also those so-called intellectuals and experts who in spite of Pakistani roots unintelligently criticize the Quaid for splitting Hindustan into two for the sake of his personal pride. Even Indians, many of whom still dream of an Akhand Bharat, with Pakistan as its western province would learn a lesson or two from reading this book.

I wanted to read the book again after almost 50 years and fortunately I traced it on Google in scanned form.

Here is the link where you can read the whole book and especially page 188-198.

Kind regards and may Quaid's spirit protect his creation for ever.
