JOURNEY IS AS IMPORTANT AS
THE DESTINATION
Dear Ali....I hope I am not
overwhelming you with my emails. I just feel excited about the project that
you and I are starting. Searching in my small library of a few hundred
/ thousand books I found one more book of Faiz
Ahmad Faiz. It is the collection of his Punjabi
poems titled...Raat Di Raat.
I think
at some stage you and I need to discuss what steps we need to take to
achieve our goal. Maybe you can send me your phone number and I can call
you and we can have a telephonic exchange to define our roles and develop a
rhythm that suits both of us. For me there is no hurry. Because of your
professional and family responsibilities I can proceed with the speed and rhythm
you are comfortable with. I want to enjoy the process and not feel the
pressure. I hope you feel the same. Mystics say journey is as important as
