Dear Khalid;
It was wonderful
meeting you recently in Toronto
for the peace festival. Thank you for the gift of your book. I have already
read several chapters and am enjoying it. I was impressed by how far you
have progressed in 'self-actualizing' yourself and it will only inspire me
to redouble my efforts to do the same for myself. Of course, I realize that
your secret (one of them anyway) is your sincere dedication to helping
others self-actualize themselves. I am also somewhat envious of your prolific
literary output and will need to continue my efforts in that regard as
well. I have only recently started writing in Urdu and am enjoying it
although as I said in my paper, my command of that is a little shaky. I am
attaching a copy of my translation of the book chapter about the All India
Progressive Writers Association. It was recently published in Lahore;
I hope you like it and would like to hear what you think.
