Dear Farzana:

My heartiest congratulations for an excellent evening.

Dear Perviaz Bhai,
Being an ardent enthusiast of poetry as a whole, I would like to thank our Family of Hearts for that beautiful evening. It was wonderful to listen to a variety of feeling and tones presented by a number of poets. As I always maintain that the art of poetry is a superb way to express one's inner mind.
A few words, some short expressions and some hidden tears all creates a world where the listener is immersed and mesmerized. A poet is a very special person who has a mind to impress on the others. This art of a poet or poetess is very special to them. They have their own world, a world where they travel like a free bird. They see the whole creation as one with all it's stars, milky ways, nebulas and the galaxies and above all the entire human race as one. This is an unique power we saw in Shakespeare, Dante, Homer. Wordsworth, Shelly, Byron, Keats, Ghalib, Tagore, Iqbal and many other poets. They all wrote our emotions, they exposed our inner feelings and virtually made us to see our own hearts in action. I was much amazed with the presentation of Mr.Ziauddin Ahmed. He is an able translator and I
am sure that his understandings of Ghalib is superb. It's really difficult to present Ghalib to a modern audience.

Finally many thanks to our Farzana Hassan for superb piano expertise. She kept me spellbound, although the performance was very short but her mastery on the instrument is unquestionable. I would end this short article with a sonnet from Shakespeare.
============================================

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought,
And with old woes new wail my dear time's waste:
Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in death's dateless night,
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight:
Then can I grieve at grievances foregone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er
The sad account of fore-bemoaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before.
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restored and sorrows end.

Dear Pervaiz Sahib

I like to thank all the young people who participated in this event.

I always have faith in our next generations, in their political outlook, in
their artistic talent and in their future aspirations. I also have serious
concern about their frustration, and futre outlook. I think what we have not
done so far is involve them with us. Together, them and us, we got to meet
more often, and help them [if we can] in seeing things through broader
angle. I know it is much easier said than done, and lots of us, do not have
"correct visions" ourselves. So, at the same time, I also hope that we can
learn from them.

Kamal made a rap presentation, which to me was a powerful political message.
I have contemplated much on such subjec myself.

And the "DEAL"? To me, this is another very  deep message, although one has
to dig into it.

I came out very convinced that we must invite, encourage and support younger
people.

I thank you all, and the younger participant.
