Dear Tahir,
If I gave the impression
that I exonerated booing, that is not the case. I certainly did not boo,
and was critical of anyone who did. I believe that anger needs to be
understood and acknowledged. You are right about the difference between
“truth of factual data” and the “truth of personal experience”. However,
as new discoveries in quantum physics show, even “factual data” can be
seen differently by different observers, and both observers are “right”.
I think it is also fair to
point out that there probably will be some difference between how Farzana
saw the apology, and how I interpreted its importance. My interpretation
focuses mostly on acknowledging the emotion of anger, which if left to
fester, grows bigger. Only Farzana can tell you what exactly her
motivation was.
