I agree with you all the way. I am glad that you brought up the issue of the elites and power structures that brings all sorts of ills with it. This is one of the many areas of consideration that I had included in my April 2 presentation. In fact I thought I had included more or less all the factors that contribute towards establishing or the lack of democracy (or a similar system). But I did not know some people (like Rashid Mughal) will come along and say, Islam and democracy do not mix, while we see that it has already been established in half a dozen Muslim states.
