forty, I stopped believing in God and now you
have become an atheist at the age of twenty.

When the renowned
French mathematician and philosopher announced
to the world "cogito ergo sum" or "I think,
therefore I am" he was identifying and
acknowledging the existence of a consciousness
residing both within us and around us,
permeating the sentient world and guiding its
course through much of its temporal
existence. This consciousness enables us to be
aware of the "self" as a distinct entity in the
space time continuum.
