Of course our discussions have
gone off on different
tangents, but not because of my
question about Islam’s attitude towards other faiths,
which, as you say, is of
paramount importance
as "it
has direct bearing on our new generations growing up in the
Western societies."
However, my reason for raising
that question about Islam's intolerance to other faiths is
directly related to the study of mysticism: How can one tread
the vastness of mysticism when one is tethered to the pettiness
of religion?
I sincerely believe the magic
of mysticism transforms our lives when we pluck up the courage
to put religion in its place.
