I couldn't agree with
you more.
You referred to Mother
Theresa's remark about the possibility of her ending up being someone like
Hitler. Maybe I am just flat wrong here but Mother Theresa's tendency to
romanticize suffering is where we can probably draw a parallel. As a devout
Christian, she thought that more you suffer, the closer you get to Christ.
That is why, according to some accounts (I don't know how reliable), in her
"Homes for Suffering", no medical treatment was allowed to people close to
dying.
Talking about
exorcisms and Mother Theresa, its interesting to note that she went thru an
exorcism at some point in her life.
